I've not forgotten...

...just been a bit busier than I imagined in the last few weeks :D How's it all going folks? Getting your winter selves in check??

Lately.... i've still been working on sewing together my blanket :P I must say it's taken me longer than I thought and is more mathematical than I also imagined it'd be... anyways..hence lack of posting... don't worry.. am coming up with a mega one soon... so be prepared!! (it may be superawesome!!! or just me droning on about rubbish... we'll see, either way...be prepared :D) haha...

Here's something I drew whilst inbetween designing some greetings cards (coming soon for sale from eljubbly!) How exciting, I know!!! Don't ask me what I was thinking about, maybe an idea for a future comic. Aaaand... another peek at my blanket- it's seemingly more colourful than I imagined too... haha... Anyways.. until the next!

Finally started...

Ok, so i've been meaning to start sewing this quilt together which I cut all the pieces up for and everything like... a couple of months ago :T... slow, I know.. anyhows, I finally started sewing the bits together and thought since i'm practicing getting into the habit of posting- why not share it with the world wide web! 

So here are some sneaky peeks of what's to come... not much to go on now that I look back on it.. but hey.. you'll just have ta wait n see :D 

 

Also... it turns out that sewing in a long straight line is trickier than I rememeber.... and that sewing triangles... is even more so apparantly... ah well, it will have that lovingly unique feel to it :) 

I have also been listening to She & Him christmas songs again....obsessive much?

Christmas is coming!

Mildly terrifying yes, but that time of year is creeping up on us again. After visiting the local Christmas market, and eating a delicious gigantic pretzel the size of my head, I decided it was time to get organized!

So...

...Apologies must be made for a such a long period of absence from le blog... Must make it a point to try and share more... after all, what's the saying? Sharing is caring... does that even work here...? Hmm....


 Anyhoooos... 'nuff about that... Today's post will be short and sweet as I have spent the better part of an hour trying to tweak the site so :P I have included a quick peek at a birthday sketch I did for papa.C- I call it Guinness Balloons!

 

Also... I have been currently listening to some christmas She & Him songs... courtesy of Lindesy's recommendations... I must say this is furthering my lady-crush on a certain Miss.Deschanel... must get onto that New Girl tv series soon! :D And in regards to the christmas music- yes, I realise it's a tad early... but am trying to get myself some holiday inspiration for some future projects :D (watch this space y'all!) Plus, my local Starbucks has already started playing xmas tunes which has set me a little off track.. no excuse I know..but still...

I got a little distracted in putting this post together, but in keeping with the christmas early prep mode.... you may enjoy watching this...

A memoir from London Comic-con...

Here is just one of many joyous moments that occured during our day trip out... I call this strip 'Lindsey Time- The Eyes', she was just having sooo much fun geeking out with me!
Yes, I know this is also a very small post, but I'm still getting used to updating regularly.. and this is almost fail as comic-con was like a few weeks ago... but still, enjoy! We certainly did- as you can tell by the look on Lindsey's face...
